You may join in one of several ways: By Confession of faith & Baptism: If you are not a baptized Christian, you are invited to accept the claims of Christ on your life and profess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Our pastor would be happy to discuss the meaning of salvation and baptism with you. Fill out this form and give it to the pastor and you will be contacted by telephone. By Transfer from another UM Church: Please fill out the form below and present it to the pastor. He will be glad to write your former church for your transfer. By Transfer from another Denomination: The process is very much like the one above, as you are already baptized and confirmed. You will be asked to take the vow made by all persons entering our congregation to support and uphold the United Methodist Church “by your prayers, your presence, your gifts and your service.” How to “join” without “joining”-Affiliate: If you are a UM whose membership is elsewhere and you wish to keep it, you can become an “Affiliate” member of Strasburg United Methodist Church. We will write your “home” church and inform them of your status at Strasburg.
